Like others Dousbill is the "teenage" phase of the evolutionary line, Dousbil adopts a more battle ready stand and has developed claws for battle and for digging
The final stage of the Platyplop evolutionary line, it's body has become more hydrodynamic, for fast travel. Platerra is meant to take Dutch inspiration, being the people who arrived in Australia prior to the British's colonization. it uses Dutch techniques such as utilizing Dikes with it's digging abilities to prevent land from floodsÂ
Burburra is the hypothetical Regional bird for Pokémon topaz and Pokémon lapis, inspired by kookaburras, its name was chosen from the expression "bur" as in being cold and the syllables in the name kookaburra. It would be a pure flying type Pokémon
Coloka is the midstage of the regional bird line, in trying to find a piece of Australian clothing for cold weather I stumbled on the Drisa-bone, so I made coloka wearing a rudimentary version out of it's canonically aged feathers that had turned grey.
Drisuquall's name is inspired by drisa-bones. it is now an ice and flying type. the blues and whites of it's design were chosen for their refrences to cold temperatures, ice and the snow. Drisuquall wear their old feathers like a drisa-bone to keep their fresh feathers dry when flying in the rain
Honant is inspired by honey ants. it is the regional bug of the hypothetical Pokémon Topaz and Lapis. Honant is canonically speaking, a construct of dirt and resin, grass grows on its back and the only goal it has is to collect honey
Gluterf, the evolved form of Honant has grown slightly and grown a flower on it's head, beenign and hornest use this to produce honey which Gluterf then carries for them. however due to its bright colour it attracts predators that leave Gluterf frail after their raids for it's honey
Florazz is the final stage of the Honant line and is now a Bug and grass type. it has grown much larger but has also grown better at defending itself taking on a more battle ready stance, and using its honey as a weapon in combat. It can also use honey much more efficiently with the fact it's tail has taken on the shape of a honey wand
The primary Legendary Fakemon for "Pokémon Topaz" a hypothetical game in which these Fakemon would be present. it takes inspiration from pegasus', unicorns, and the greek Hermes, with wings, a horn and winged legs made of lighting, the black body was made to contrast with the glowing yellow, and the black hair to represent dark stormy clouds
The primary Legendary Fakemon for "Pokémon Lapis" a hypothetical game in which these Fakemon would be present. Sotorum is canonically a collective mind of thousands of lost souls, the etherial nature represented in the purple of it's eyes. The name Sotorum is a Quasi-Homophone with the words "Soul Storm", which represents how this fakemon was made
Vurvenjil would act as the Primary Mythical Pokémon of both "Pokémon topaz" and "Pokémon lapis" Vurvenjil takes inspiration from the dreamtime story of Bungle the eagle, in which Bungle brought life to the land and when it was complete, flew into the night sky and became a star, Vurvenjil on the other hand became the Sun of this fictional world, watching over the land and giving it sunlight for plants and growth
Irazenbris is the main antagonist of these fictional games, it is inspired by a panther, with it's dark colour palette to show it is an evil force, the sclera of Irazenbris' eye is also completely dark to make it appear more intimidating and malicious. Irazenbris' Tail is in the shade of a spade, reminiscent of plenty of depictions of devils and demons
A black and white Fakemon inspired by Magpies, Chimaru are Psychic and Flying type Fakemon, it is a psychic type due to magpies' high inteligence. Chimaru also takes inspiration from the Yin & Yang, with small feathers floating around it for it's Psychic abilites and to show the other missing half of the ying & yang in each direct depiction of it
Psytori is the evolution to Chimaru. The "tori" in it's name coming from the Japanese word for bird é³¥ (tori) and "Psy" coming from Psychic. Psytori has become more aerodynamic for faster flight. Psytori can evolve into 1 of 3 different Fakemon depending on specific attributes about it upon evolving
Psytori evolves into Yangpi when it's "physical attack" statistic is higher than it's "special attack" statistic. Yangpi abandons much of it's darker colour pallete, reflecting greater the Yang half of the Yin & Yang
Psytori evolves into Yingpi when it's "Special attack" statistic is higher than it's "Physical attack" statistic. Yangpi abandons much of it's lighter colour pallete, reflecting greater the Yin half of the Yin & Yang
Psytori evolves into Mangpi when it's "special" and "physical" attack statistics are equal. Mangpi looses it's loose floating feathers to show it's security in it's balance, which is the primary theme of the Ying & Yang, the name Mangpi is play on the word magpie in a way that relates more to the yin &yangÂ
Furbolt is a cat inspired Pokémon that is very fearful, it uses a cloak to hide itself in the forest but its electrified tail constantly gives it away
Conjectic has embraced its powers and aims to practice them to the fullest, it adorns a classical wizard's apprentice robe, with inspiration of fantasy with the classical dark blue and yellow design
Wiskar is the final form of the Furbolt line, now being an Electric and psychic type Pokémon. it's robes have grown longer and it uses its fingers to create a circuit with it's electrical powers, building energy to use in it's magic
Chubass is based on the Australian bass, it is a pure water type, that due to it's size is used in lots of meals and restaurants across it's home region.Â
Staqhorn, the evolved form of Chubass, is inspired by coral reefs, Staqhorn is now a water/rock type due to the coral on it's back, it travels around the region building coral reefs with the staghorn coral on it's back which is also the primary inspiration for its name, the lined pattern on it's head is also meant to imitate several types of coral allowing for natural camouflageÂ
Zapinge is an ice/electric type Convergent evolution of Trapinch, Convergent evolution in Pokémon and in real life, are creatures that evolved from a different animals but resemble one another due to a need to fulfill environmental needs
Raiblava, the evolution to Zapinge, and convergent evolved Vibrava, is also an electric/ice type. These lines unlike the flygon line being inspired by dragonflies, are inspired by fireflies, thus the glowing aspects of their body
Fryglon now has a new battle ability, allowing it to use 1 extra powerful electric move, but afterwards it will become 'powered down' becoming ice/ground type, but if it uses the move 'charge' it will return to the powered up state. Fryglon's angular wings are inspired by snowflakes
Onshigiri is a pure normal type Pokémon, inspired by onigiri, the stubby legs and dotted eyes are made simplistic to make the onigiri inspiration more of a focal point and make the Pokémon seem less capable as it is an unevolved Pokémon
Nishigiri is inspired by salmon nigiri wrapped with seaweed, it is now a normal/water type due to the fish, it looses its legs and gains a more defensive stance as it plants itself on the ground. Nishigiri is the evolution of onshigiri
Makigiri is inspired by Maki (sushi rolls), it is also a normal/water type, with this form it gains a more cheeky personality as it has rolled up it can move quickly across the ground by rolling, with this it teases others and is very joyful as seen in it's smile made from the salmon within the rollÂ
Makigiri's collective form acts similar to the Pokémon wishiwashi's school form, that being, when a makigiri is brought down to equal to or less than 50% health points, it will become a greater, more powerful form. Makigiri's collective form is inspired by the iconic soy-sauce fish packets most sushi restaurants in australia give with every order, the snake like body is taken from the way Maki is made, being formed into a large roll and then cut up into smaller portions, being a fully evolved Pokémon with a form like this, the statistical differences between each of onshigiri, nishigiri, and base form makigiri would be very minor, to allow this form to be much stronger.
Regional variants are highly popular region specific forms of fan favourite Pokémon, this form of the Pokémon Onix is made partially of gold, with Onix being the "rock snake Pokémon" i took inspiration from rattlesnakes and made its second to last tail segment slightly longer and made of gold to highlight it in the design, and make it more interesting. Halorian onix is now a steel/rock typeÂ
The evolved form of Halorian Onix is inspired more by a Tiger snake than a rattle snake with an alternating pattern of stone and gold, along its body, its jaw has also been exaggurated from its traditional form, along with the new inclusion of stalactites vaguely resembling facial hair associated with old age and wisdom. Halorian Steelix is also a steel/rock type
substitue is inspired by the Pokémon series' substitute doll. When a Pokémon uses the move "substitute" a sitting doll takes its place and takes damage for the user, it always felt odd to me that there wasent a clear inspiration for the doll so i created this fakemon to fill that space, being practically identical in visual elements to the doll itself
Dokkapa is inspired by Quokkas. each official Pokémon region has an electric type Pokémon sharing design aspects with the Pokémon mascot Pikachu, Dokkapa (pure electric type) would be the "pika-clone" of the hypothetical Pokémon topaz and Pokémon lapisÂ
Ectoplaztic is a Ghost/normal typed Pokémon whose body is entirely composed of ectoplasm, due to it's unstable body it collects discarded pieces of plastic it finds at the beach, and in the ocean, with a plastic bag over itself it can contain it's body, to visually communicate with others it also collects plastic straws and bottle caps to create something resembling a face in it's body
Beenign is a Dragon/bug type Pokémon inspired by Australian hornets. Australian hornets are generally non-aggressive towards humanity, thus this Pokémon's kind nature, and pun of 'bee' and 'benign' in it's name
Hornest, like beenign is a Dragon/bug type, now carrying it's nest with it's hind legs and back. it's name is inspired by Hornet, and Nest for the nest it carries. both beenign and hornest's wings are manifested from it's dragonly energy, thus their glowing nature.
